Loneliness has been described by Wikipedia as a complex and usually unpleasant emotional response to isolation. It typically includes anxious feelings about a lack of connection or communication with other beings, both in the present and extending into the future.
Loneliness is attributed to being alone but it can actually be deeper and described as a state of mind, usually from a place of self-consciousness and because to be lonely is to be alone, a number of questions are asked about a person’s lifestyle as it relates to their interaction to people or things.
We know that you can be in a room full of people and still be alone. So how do you find companionship that fills the void created by loneliness in our minds? A deep connection to isolation is the family. What is home to you? Where is home to you? Who is home to you? The cure to loneliness is having a deep connection with someone or something. We would like to address a loneliness that is more deep rooted because you can be with the love of your life and still be lonely.
Such deep-rooted loneliness is usually associated with hurt. If you experience some sort of abuse, mostly emotional abuse such as neglect, humiliation, exploitation, belittling etc, such experience can leave you forever seeking for a form of acceptance from everyone around you and that person or those people in your life showing signs of any of these experiences serve as a trigger to your feeling of loneliness.
Like we earlier stated, with dealing with triggers the trick is to maximize the moments you feel loved and wanted, maximize the feeling of happiness in that moment, reminisce on happy memories and sometimes just drink hot tea and sleep. Never be afraid to cry because crying heals the heart, literally.
It is speculated that more men suffer from strokes and heart attacks because they hardly cry so their hearts never learn to heal and soften.
Loneliness can be one of the hardest negative emotions to deal with because it quickly works with the mind and body to generate negative energy, which is stronger than positive emotions and energy. There is no easy way to deal with emotions but it takes determination and strong will and just how much feeling great means to you.
