4 Natural And Simple Hacks For A Fresh, Sweet Smelling Home

Margaret Solace

There are so many air fresheners in the market, but buying them too often can be expensive. Yet, you want a nice house with that perfect smell, especially in the kitchen and bathroom.

Here are simple, natural and affordable hacks you should try to make your home smell nice without having to break the bank.

• Ventilation

Opening doors and windows regularly can eliminate smell. We have to air our room, clothes and furniture at least twice a month.

• Citrus fruits

Citrus fruits, including oranges and lemons, are usually found in most of these air fresheners in the market. All you have to do is cut slices of oranges or lemons and place them in a steaming water and allow to boil. Add a little mint to it if possible. Do not cover so that the steam can reach every corner of your house.

• Apple cider vinegar

Place a little cider in jars and place in specific locations in your house. Do not cover. Place your jars inside fridges or the bathroom. With time, your fridge will smell just as good as new. You can also use to clean out your furniture, fridge and all other electrical appliances.

• Baking soda

Baking soda works faster than cider. If you want something to immediately combat the smell of your fridge, baking soda is the deal. Place little baking soda in a jar and put it in the fridge.

Stay away from clogged sink. If your sink is faulty, make sure you dispose the water every two to three days. Do not wait till it is full.
