The year 2014 has been a very eventful one in the entertainment industry, but Olamide’s OLIC show, which took place at the Eko Hotel and suites on Sunday, 28 December will remain in the hearts of fans as one of the polarizing concert experiences in recent memory.
Guests, including the APC Vice Presidential aspirant Prof. Osinbajo, the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Ayo Fayose and top celebrities from Nigeria’s entertainment industry who attended the maiden edition of the Olamide Live in concert, tagged ‘Beast Unleashed’, came out en-mass to support one of Nigeria’s brightest rappers.
Olamide’s “creative entrance” with a “danfo bus” projected the initial rejection he got starting up in the industry and how we all fell in love with his music. However, the non-stop visuals and electric performances from top notch acts kept the crowd on their feet till the end.
The Guinness ambassador who recently purchased a Mercedes G-wagon as a present for his hardwork following the success of his 4th album, ‘Street O.T since its release on 14 November, 2014 gave an account of himself live on stage along with several other artistes he has worked with such as Phyno, Lil Kesh, Pasuma and many more.
The event was star-studded with several people like Fade Ogunro, Emma Nyra, Moet Abebe, Juliet Ibrahim, Ifan Ifeanyi Michael, Ice Prince, Do2Dtun, Lil Kesh, Sasha P, DJ Spinall, Stephanie Coker, Sensei Uche, Flowsick, Oritsefemi, Eniola Badmus, Princess, Skales, Skuki, Tayo Faniran and more.
There were awesome performances from the artist of the night himself – Olamide, as well as performances from Skales, Oritsefemi, Skuki, Seyi Shay and more.
