Coming-of-age tale ‘Boyhood’ wins BAFTA for best film

London (AFP) – The American coming-of-age drama “Boyhood”, which was filmed over the course of 12 years, won the British Academy BAFTA award for best film on Sunday.

Julianne Moore won best actress for “Still Alice” and rising star Eddie Redmayne took best actor for playing theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking in “The Theory of Everything”.
