Kendrick Lamar plays new music for Michael Jackson’s son

Kendrick Lamar adds another celebrity to the elite list of those to hear his new music.

People from Peter Rosenberg to SZA have had high praise for Kendrick Lamar’s second album, which still doesn’t have a title, tracklist or release date.

XXL reports that one more person has gotten to listen to the new music: Michael Jackson’s son Prince. The son of pop royalty took to Twitter to share his experience and his friend, Omer Bhatti, said on Facebook that “the Music is on another level,” with a fire emoji.

From the album, Lamar has already released “i,” which won two Grammy Awards, and the much darker “The Blacker The Berry.”
