Living music legend R. Kelly has bagged a legal suit for backing out of an upcoming show.
Reports say show promoter Darryl Austin got really mad at Kelly after he got a huge deposit for his expected performance and so, he decided to take matters to court.
According to the promoter, he hand delivered a $100k deposit to Kelly’s team in January for him to headline an April concert in Dallas but documents reveal that when February came around, R. Kelly’s rep denied knowledge of any contract.
Things got really heated when R. Kelly did the deposit but it was $30,000 short.
Austin pleads the court to either force Kelly to do the show or pay back the cash.
