British singer and songwriter, Adele has opened up to her fans in a deeply personal letter on Facebook about her life in which she also reveals that her new album 25 is a “make-up” record and that she’s sorry “it took so long.”
Over 200,000 fans viewed the message within two hours of it being posted. In the letter she gives an insight into what has inspired her upcoming third album, 25.
“25 is about getting to know who I’ve become without realising.
“And I’m sorry it took so long, but you know, life happened.”
As well as global sucess (including winning an Oscar and being awarded an MBE), the biggest change in Adele’s life since her heartbreaking 2011 album, 21, is her new happiness in her personal life.
The 27-year-old has been with charity CEO Simon Konecki since the beginning of 2012 and the couple welcomed a baby boy, Angelo, on October 17 of the same year.
It’s a far cry from the shattered loneliness which inspired 21.
“My last record was a break-up record and if I had to label this one I would call it a make-up record,” Adele wrote.
