Eva Longoria have followed the steps of our own Linda Ikeji as she has reportedly splashed US$11.4 million on a stylish new home, whose previous owner is none other than famous movie star, Tom Cruise.

According to Variety.com, The Desperate Housewives star bought Cruise’s palatial Hollywood Hills estate at a price less than US$2 million Cruise was hoping for when he first listed the property in March for US$13 million.

The two-storey main residence is described as a European-style villa with Venetian plaster walls and a “chef’s quality” Italian farmhouse kitchen, the entire walls of glass offering lush views of the Hollywood Hills, and outside a wooden footbridge leads to a large pool with waterfall and spa. The guest house comprises of four bedrooms and four bathrooms, meaning it’s larger than the main house which has three bedrooms and bathrooms.

This comes as the latest of a succession of sales from Cruise. In 2013, he sold a 200sqm apartment in New York City’s East Village for US$3 million. Last year, he listed his 121-hectare ranch near Telluride, Colorado, up for sale at US$59 million and there are speculations that his Beverly Hills mansion can be shown on request, and has a price tag of about US$50 million.
