Nicki Minaj, Remy Ma and the diss track that drew blood

We’ve all learnt one important lesson: Don’t get on Remy Ma’s bad side! So the Bronx rap legend dropped one of the most savage diss tracks in recent history, “ShETHER,”  titled after Nas’ classic diss track “Ether” which tears apart her foe, Nicki Minaj.

Why Nicki?

It would interest you to know that this beef didn’t happen overnight. After years of harsh subliminals, hugs, and words of adoration, their rocky relationship took a turn at the weekend, Saturday (Feb. 26), after Gucci Mane dropped “Make Love” with Nicki, and Nicki seemed to take some thinly veiled shots at Remy: “She ain’t eatin’ but I swear she got some bum a– taste / Text her man like, “Dawg, how that bum a– taste?” / Pay your rent! And stay in your bum a– place / Oooohhh, oh you the qu-e-e-the queen of this here? / One platinum plaque, album flopped, b—h, where?,” she rapped. She punctuated the diss with: “You see, silly rabbit, to be the queen of rap / You gotta sell records, you gotta get plaques.”

Jason Derulo released his new single “Swalla” featuring Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign and Nicki once again issued a warning shot that the Internet believed to be towards Remy Ma. “I gave these b—hes two years, now your time’s up / Bless her heart, she throwing shots but every line sucks,” spit Minaj.

Well, twenty-four hours later, Remy Ma in response spewed venom on the diss single “shTHER”. If you ask me, she sure took time out to plan her response, plus the internet can’t stop talking about it.

Now everyone’s waiting on Nicki to respond to this. Who’s side are you on?
