Ariana Grande to perform benefit concert in Manchester

American singer and actress, Ariana Grande, is returning to Manchester for her One Love Manchester Benefit Concert.

The musical performance is expected to hold at Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground on Sunday, June 4th, to raise money for the victims of the Manchester terror attack and their families.

Other artistes billed to perform at the tribute show include Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell Williams, Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Take That, Usher, Niall Horan and more.

The singer is offering fans who were at her Manchester show on Monday, May 22, the day of the attack, free tickets to the show.

22 people lost their lives when a bomb was detonated at Manchester Arena shortly after Ariana’s show last week.

In an open letter, Ariana sent her ‘prayers and condolences’ to thos affected. She said;

‘My heart,prayers and condolences are with the victims of the Manchester Attack and their loved ones. There is nothing I or anyone can do to take away the pain you are feeling or to make this better. However, I extend my hand and heart and everything I possibly can give to you and yours, should you want or need my help in any way’’.

Proceeds from the gig will go to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund, which was set up by the Manchester City Council in partnership with the British Red Cross.
