The BET Awards 2017 held last night and it saw artists like Bruno Mars scooping the award for best male R&B/pop artists, while the Remy Ma nicked the best female hip hop artist from her rival Nicki Minaj.
Migos picked up the gong for the best group while the best collaboration award went to Chance the Rapper for his efforts with 2 Chainz on No Problem.
New mum Beyonce might not have been there in person but she owned the 2017 BET Awards, scooping awards for best female R&B/pop artist as well as best video director for her incredible visuals for Sorry
In the acting categories, Taraji P. Henson was awarded with best actress and while Moonlight star Mahershala Ali won best actor, the same can’t be said for the Oscar-winning film. Hidden Figures, which was a surprise hit at the box office, starring Taraji, Janelle Monae and Octavia Spencer, came out victorious.
Future brought out Kendrick Lamar for Mask Off, while Chris Brown performed two tracks – Privacy and Party – in front of his ex Karrueche Tran (despite the restraining order).
