Yoruba Singing sensation of American roots, Nikki Spooner has been battling with one ailment to another, since she left the Nigerian shore after launching her Yoruba gospel album in 2017.
In her own words, “I regret to inform you that I am back in the hospital with a confirmed case of the Flu.
“I am vomiting everywhere with a severe headache and all over body pains, the Doctor has begun treating me but the flu has a duration of at least 2-week to exit my system. It is well though my God will deliver me safely.”
This has been the sad situation of Nikki Spooner since last year. Happenings implores her fans to remember her in their daily prayers for total healing from above.
Recall that Spooner got the inspiration to sing Yoruba songs by listening to King Sunny Ade’s (KSA) album, ‘The merciful God’ .
She also got motivation from Tope Alabi, Lanre Teriba and other Yoruba artistes songs.
While in Nigeria last year, she performed at Evang. Ebenezer Obey’s 75th birthday and the 40 years celebration of Badagry among other Society events, before she went back to America.
