Supreme Mavin Dynasty artiste, Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon, better known by his stage name Reekado Banks, is currently embroiled in a Police case, over allegations of his refusal to honour a couple’s invitation to perform at their wedding.
According to reports, the singer was contracted to perform at the wedding, but he failed to show up and also did not refund the advance payment made by the couple to the singer.
Consequently, Benin Based Media Personality and comedian Uwa Idahosa, who contracted the singer on behalf of the couple, dragged Reekado Banks to court over the matter.
According to those in the know, Police Authorities have given the singer and his manager Temi, an ultimatum of Monday January 22, to return the sum of 2 million Naira paid by the couple to them, failure of which, they will be made to face the wrath of the law.
On his part, Reekado’s manager Temi, denied the authenticity of the allegation “All the allegations are not true; I will rather let the matter remain as it is. When the right time comes, we will let the public know what transpired between both parties”.
The singer’s manager however, insisted that they cannot refund the full amount, but can only return N800,000.
The Police and everyone involved, are currently waiting to see if Reekado will comply with the Police directive or otherwise.
