Popular Yoruba star actor, Odunlade Adekola has denied the story in circulation that he is owing his Landlord 2 years rent for the office he is occupying at Ansarudeen House, Quarry Road, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Odunlade’s P. A., Korede Ibrahim denied the story vehemently, saying “Odunlade Adekola did not owe any office rent”.
He disclosed that, a man simply known as Prince who is based abroad, rented out the office to Odunlade Adekola, and Odunlade has since been paying the rents to his account every year.
Concerning the quit notice as reported by News flagship, last week that said Odunlade Adekola popularly known as Sunday Dagbon has been given quit notice by his Landlord, Mr. Sulaimon Osho for owing N140,000.00 (One Hundred and Forty Thousand Naira) for two years office rent since 2017.
The letter we learnt was dated 1st of August, 2018 that he should pay arrears into his Access Bank Account with account name Sulaimon Olasupo.
But Odunlade Adekola’s P.A., Ibrahim Korede explained that he is not aware of any quit notice letter, but the letter in their possession didn’t indicate that they should quit the office so soon, not until 31st October, 2018.
Fans and admirers of Odunlade Adekola who were happy to see him win AMVCA’s 2018 Best Actor in the comedy “A Million Baby” was disappointed to hear the rumours that he is owing his Landlord 2-years rent.
Perhaps, currently the most popular Yoruba movie actor, Odunlade Adekola has starred, scripted, produced and directed over 100 movies. A crossover star, the 39 year old actor has also made an inroad into Nollywood and has been clinching major roles.
