Another Honour For Mo Abudu, Makes 2018 U.K Powerlist



This  is certainly the best of time for the queen of TV, Mo Abudu.

Mo Abudu has been listed in the United Kingdom Power list of most influential and powerful black Britons.

The power list is an annual publication with the aim to provide professional role models for young people of African Caribbean heritage.

Mo Abudu who announced the good news on her social media handle said she is honoured and humbled to be included.

“it is nice to know that those of us who return home to make our contributions are not being overlooked.

“So, I hope that my story can influence even one child to follow his or her dreams”.

The CEO of Ebony Live TV is also named in the 100 list alongside other celebrities like:

World boxing heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua. Actor John Boyega and the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle.

In 2013, Forbes Africa recognised Mo Abudu as the first African woman to own a Pan-Africa TV channel.

She is the Executive producer of TV talk show, ‘Moments with Mo’, which is the first daily talk show on African regional television.
