Tekno Launches Record Label, Abandon Made Men Music and Ubi Franklin

Nigerian musician Austine Miles Kelechi known by his popular stage Moniker Tekno has left Made Men Music.

Tekno joined Made Men Music as a producer and later began releasing his own songs which were embraced with open arms within Nigeria and internationally.

He was one of the two signed artists that made the record label known and Ubi Franklin the CEO recognized in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

Tekno subtly made the announcement of his departure from Made Men Music on his Instagram page with an image caption “CARTEL” and underneath he wrote “CEO”

I do wonder why artistes are leaving Ubi Franklin to go create their record label or join other music management company; first it was Iyanya, Emma Nyra now Tekno.

Thus is there a direct correlation between Ubi Franklin’s alleged anger issues or these artistes are not getting enough from his record label.

With Tekno gone that leaves Ubi Franklin with 2 unpopular upcoming artists. How does he intend to maintain his millionaire status with just those two?

Recall that Tekno’s melodious music, was a major money maker for Ubi Franklin’s record label.

Recall also that the later part of 2018 was bad for Tekno because he battled with his damaged vocal cords which put a pause on his singing career.

Many wonder that with the launch of his new record label, would he go back to singing or he would float new signees. There are speculations that might just go ahead to sign his baby mama Lola Rae as his first artist, at least he has to start from somewhere

I personally think Tekno’s career is at the stage where he is battling to stay afloat and remain relevant.

Do you think his exit from Made Men Music was a good idea?
