CEO Sapphire Scents, Wale Jana, calls out Runtown for snubbing him
Nigeria's online talent booking platform released the top ten most booked artists in December 2018.
Among the ten artists, Teniola Apata known popularly by her stage moniker, Teni, topped the list as number one.
The other artists on the list include Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy, Falz tha Bahdguy, Davido, Wizkid, Niniola, Kizz Daniel, Olabode and Mr. Real. A lot of fans applauded Teni by acknowledging her hardwork and recognition in such a short time. Meanwhile, others have critiqued the list as false and not thoroughly researched.
Wale Jana decided at that time to express his joy that Runtown didn't make the list. He bitterly narrated his experience with the artist who is now in a heated battle with his record label. According to Wale, he met Runtown at the airport and approached him for business but was snubbed by the artist.
Read what he wrote below:
This complaint about Runtown didn't seem to go down well with his fans. Because his record label just revoked his short victory over the lawsuit which the artist put out on social media. His fans are beginning to see Runtown as a lazy and unserious artist while others feel that Wale should have let sleeping dogs lie.
Do you think Runtown should address Wale Jana's accusation?
