Davido and Peruzzi Beg Pamilerin for forgiveness after violent assault yesterday.
Nigerian superstar Davido has waded into the brouhaha currently trending on social media at the moment between his artiste Tobechukwu Victor Okoh popularly known as Peruzzi and Twitter influencer the Pamilerin .
His record label signee, Peruzzi violently and publicly assaulted twitter influencer, the Pamilerin, yesterday, June 9th, 2019, for a grudge he (Peruzzi) held on to since January.
Davido took to his verified Twitter handle to apologise to the influencer for the assault, he said:
I apologize to you @thepamilerin on behalf of my brother and artist @Peruzzi_VIBES. He was wrong for putting his hands on you but people need to realize that we artists are human beings and we see everything! You said some harsh words to my brother and sometimes this thing dey pain!
Peruzzi in the spirit of keeping the peace, also apologised to the Pamileri for assaulting him. He said on his social media page:
I did very wrong for (sic) yesterday slapping Mr. Pamilerin. (I) let my feelings get the (better) of me and I’m very sorry. Apologies to Mr Pamilerin and also to the general public. I’d never get into such mess again. Love only, I promise. ❤️
If you haven’t been following the story, here is what went down. Peruzzi reportedly slapped Twitter influencer, the Pamilerin in Port Harcourt yesterday, over a grudge he held on to since January.
According to reports, the reason for the violence can be traced to several tweets the influencer, Pamilerin made on social media in January 6, 2019.
The musician (Peruzzi) thought these tweets derogatory against his single ‘Amaka’ at the time. Thus he thought to correct this perceived slight by violently slapping the Pamilerin yesterday.

The reason for Pamilerin’s Tweet was not far-fetched at the time, because Peruzzi who is under Davido's management was snubbed in the Sound City and Headies next rated awards, in favour of singing sensation Teni.
For this reason, Pamilerin trolled him and received several slaps for his rudeness. The violence itself resonated in Nigerian social media, with many of the opinion that Pamilerin deserved it for his rudeness, while others believe that violence is not the answer to any perceived slight.
In the wake of Peruzzi’s action, other influencers are trolling Peruzzi, while also making light of Pamilerin’s predicament.
