The Afrobeat star, popularly known as Burna Boy or Oluwa Burna, has left Nigerians stunned after a viral video of him performing on “Jimmy Kimmel Live”, a top American show, emerged on social media.
The video above shows Burna Boy entertaining the audience with a brilliant performance of his latest single, "Anybody."
Burna Boy, who recently bagged the BET International Act award has also dropped the album cover of his smashing 19-track album which features foreign artistes, including top reggae artiste, Damain Marley, Future, American hip-hop star, YG, Angelina Kidjo, Jeremih and R'n'B sensation, Jorja Smith.
Popular songs like “Dangote”, “Killin Dem” featuring Zlatan Ibile, “On the Low”, and “Gbona” will be familiar tunes for many Nigerians. The “Gbona” crooner announced that the release date of the album which he self-titled "African Giant" will be Friday, July 26, 2019. The album becomes one of his most highly anticipated and well received internationally. Burna could be in for another epic year.
Since the start of Burna Boy and Stefflon Don’s romantic relationship, Burna has gained far more international acclamation. First it was Coachella, performing on the big stage with the likes of Beyonce, Jay-Z. Next was signing for America's top record label, Atlantic Records, then the BET Awards.
