Nigerians React To Burna Boy’s New Album

Damini Ogulu, also known professionally as Burna Boy, is a Nigerian born singer and writer. In 2012, Burna Boy rose to prominence after releasing his hit single ‘Like To Party’ from his debut album, ‘L.I.F.E’ (Leaving an Impact for Eternity).

Since then, he has remained consistent in the music industry, both locally and internationally. There are so many hit songs from the music artiste in the past 7 years.

Burna Boy currently has four studio albums, which include ‘L.I.F.E’ (2013), ‘On A Spaceship’ (2015), ‘On A Spaceship’ (2018) and lastly, the one he recently released, ‘African Giant’.

The ‘African Giant’ album is his fourth studio album and comprises 19 songs featuring several artists such as Zlatan, Jeremih, M.anifest, Serani, Jorja Smith, Future, YG and Damian.

Within a few hours of its release, there are already several reviews by different Nigerians commending Burna Boy for a job well done as he also talks about the situation of Nigeria mostly in two of the songs in the album, ‘Another Story’ and ‘Collateral Damage’. Burna Boy is known for his Afrobeat style of music and he has consistently delivered accurately. Some reviews from Twitter can be seen below;
