Nigerian author and activist, Reno Omokri, has rebuked Nigerians for celebrating Bishop Oyedepo’s visa denial into the United States.
Rumours about the bishop being denied a US visa recently made the rounds on social media and many seemed happy about it.
However, the United States embassy has refuted such rumours.
Omokri, in his post, stated that Oyedepo has enough funds to obtain an investor's US Green card or citizenship by investment from countries that are visa-free to the united states if the clergyman wishes to.
Read what he wrote below:
"Those who celebrated the #FakeNews should know that Bishop David Oyedepo has enough funds to get an Investors US Green Card. He could also get citizenship by investment from countries that are visa-free to the US, UK, and EU. Greece, Latvia, Malta, Montenegro, Portugal, Spain, and Cyprus will give you EU Residency if you invest a minimum of €300,000, and you can get an EU passport after a certain period of residency. Cyprus will even give you the EU passport in 6 months if you give them €2,150,000. Visa denial is no big deal if you know how international consular services work. Money is the only visa you need in this world. Faith is the only visa you need in God’s kingdom. Bishop Oyedepo has both. When you are the possessor of both faith and money, your life is a win/win situation. If you live, you will enjoy. If you die, you will still enjoy."
