It has been revealed that the Big brother Naija 'Pepper dem' 2019 edition winner, Mercy 'Lambo' Eke's bride price has continued to increase recently.
The public got to know of this through the reality TV star's boyfriend and fellow contestant on the show, Ike Onyeama.
The video evidence of this was posted on Instagram by Mercy's benefactor, Cubana Chiefpriest. In the video, Ike was repeatedly bewailing to Cubana some of the hurdles he is facing while dating Mercy which of course includes the apparent increase in bride price of the sophisticated superstar.
Cubana Chiefpriest made sure to console the obviously worried and slightly panicked Ike, reassuring him that nobody is capable of stealing Mercy from him (Ike), as their love has always been strong and he had been with her throughout her journey of stardom from the Big Brother house till date.
All of this had happened during Mercy's house warming party at Lekki Lagos, as the celebrity recently became the very proud owner of a mansion which she has not failed to flaunt all over her social media pages.
She had also invited some of her former housemates, the likes of Khafi, Tuoyo, Enkay, and Diane, to celebrate with her at her new home. With
Ike's lament over the increasing bride price of his girlfriend has caused a bit of excitement amongst the big brother fans, as everyone is wondering if that is a sign that he is going to pop the question anytime soon.
And if he does happen to ask for Mercy's hand in marriage, that will make the two stars the second set of successful couples that have managed to remain together even outside the big brother house. After Gedoni Ekpata and Khaffi Kareem, (also former contestants of the Big brother 'Pepper dem' edition) have since been engaged on December 25th last year.
Gedoni and Khaffi’s Christmas engagement caused a rush of excitement among all big brother fans, and it would certainly bring another bucket full of excitement if Ike and Mercy do get engaged, and eventually, married.
Especially since the rapid rumour of their split spread sometime last year, but the couple has proved that it was all indeed false news.
