Nigerian author and former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has expressed his displeasure over the governance of the present administration.
He made this clear in a recent Instagram post, where he indicated his dissatisfaction with the manner in which the current government treats Boko Haram insurgency.
Omokri stated that neither the president nor his vice has ever attended the burial of Nigerian soldiers who lost their lives while fighting the terrorists, yet the government has released 1,400 so-called repentant Boko Haram insurgents who have rendered over 59,000 children fatherless.
Read what he wrote below:
"VP @profosinbajo is currently attending Daniel Arap Moi’s funeral in Kenya. Both he and General @muhammadubuhari have NEVER attended the funeral of soldiers killed by Boko Haram. Yet, they released 1400 so called ‘repentant’ Boko Haramites. How would the widows and orphans feel, especially when you consider that according to Governor Zulum of Borno, Boko Haram have made 59,311 children orphans and 59,213 women widows in Borno alone. Yet, General Buhari has not imprisoned even one Boko Haramite. Where is justice in this?"
