It turns out North West's adorable musical performance at her dad's fashion show in Paris, France, the Yeezy Fashion show Season 8, was not the only exciting thing to go down in Paris on Monday, the 2nd of March 2020.
A historic moment was recorded, albeit it was just for a few moments, as American singer, songwriter, rap legend and fashion entrepreneur, Kanye West, crossed paths with Nigeria's very own African Giant, Burna Boy.
The two were reported to look very excited to meet each other, repeatedly leaning in for a side hug and handshake as they exchanged pleasantries.
Burna boy then took to his Instagram and Snapchat accounts to share a video of himself in the company of the well-known Kanye West as they greeted each other. He proceeded to cleverly caption the short video "Ye meets Ye."
For a better understanding of the Nigerian Celebrity's caption, it is important to remember back in January 2018 when the Grammy-nominated artist released an album titled 'Outside'. And on his 'Outside' album, Damini Ogulu, also known as Burna boy had one of his best songs yet, 'Ye'.
Later on, in that same year, 2018, the newly converted gospel artiste, Kanye West also released an album in June which he titled 'Ye', just five months after Burna boy had released his.
This coincidental clash in titles caused Burna boy's 'Ye' which was already topping the charts in Nigeria to get to the ears of citizens of the United States of America as well, thereby popularising the song even more. And by the end of the year, Burna boy's 'Ye' had made it to lists of top songs of the year by Okay Player and Passion Weiss.
It was gathered that Burna Boy had just finished performing at his African Giant Album (World Tour) in Marseille, France, when he met Kanye who was preparing for his Yeezy Fashion Show which is the unveiling of his fall 2020 ready to wear collection.
