‘Lifted’ is an 8-track album of songs written and produced by Thobbie, save for the Yoruba epic song, "My Praise". ‘Lifted’ is a self album, where he expresses himself and showcases his talents to the world.
Thobbie is currently working on several projects with A-list local and international gospel artists which he says would be out shortly. He gave an insight into his current project with Donnie Mclurkin and wants his fans to get ready as these songs will definitely leave them wanting more.
Thobbie reveals that his inspiration for song writing comes mostly to him when he performs on stage and mostly when driving.
Donnie Mclurkin is his biggest motivation, others include Michael W. Smith, Nathaniel Bassey and Sinach.
Being a private person, Thobbie reveals that he has mentored over 50 young people within Africa and America. He wants to take his mentorship plan a step further by setting up an orderly infrastructure to help young ones achieve their musical success.
His long term plan for his career path is still to be able to create and perform music even at 75 years.
