The Aare Onakakanfo of Yorubaland, Oba Gani Adams, has said that the memory of late Chief MKO Abiola will live on in the minds of Nigerians.
He made this statement at the annual June 12 event organised by the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) to mark the Democracy Day on Wednesday.
While speaking at the event, the keynote speaker, Dr Dele Ashiru, maintained that the president should honour MKO Abiola with his picture at the Aso Rock Villa. He also affirmed that the late politician should be paid all his entitlements from 1993 till date.
Another speaker at the event, Dr. Josephine Obiajulu Odumakin, hailed the president for honouring Chief MKO Abiola. She did not fail to add, however, that a lot more still needs to be done to honour him.
