Island Heights Hotel Hosts July Edition of Unwnd Lagos

Happenings

The atmosphere was one of fun and laughter as Unwnd Lagos hosted what many have come to call the biggest games night in Lagos.

Just as the name suggests, Unwnd Lagos is a gathering of young upwardly mobile Nigerians who come together after a hectic work day to play socialise, eat and drink, every last Friday of the month.

Unwnd Lagos began as a gathering of just 50 people, till it grew to practically 300 young professionals from all works of life e.g. Bankers, HR executives, Accountants, IT professionals, Fashion Designers et cetera.

It is a welcome change from the rat race of corporate life and the July edition was held at the Island Heights Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos.

Unwnd Lagos is the brain child of five young men, namely: Tejuosho Adetunji, Oludolapo Ogunye, Tomilola Ayinde, Fiyin Olorunmola and Tolu Adesina.

According to two of the conveners, Tejuosho Adetunji and Oludolapo Ogunye, the vision for their brand is to hold a festival in December which would be in a bigger venue hosting the largest crowd in Lagos with even more games

Games to find in this gathering are quite fun, while some would mentally engage you, others would leave you in stitches: Jenga, Chess, Karaoke, Ludo, Pool, Fuzz ball, Snakes and Ladder, Scrabble, ‘dancing round the chair’, ‘cookie on the face’, card games and many others.

Where would you rather be the last Friday of every month.
