Beauty Etsanyi Tukura, representing Taraba State, has emerged winner of the 43rd edition of the Miss Nigeria pageant.
The event, which held recently at the prestigious Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos, was graced by eminent personalities, including the Lagos State First Lady, Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu; Minister of Infomation and Culture, Lai Mohammed; Minister for Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen; Senator Ita Giwa, and a host of other dignitaries.
Tukura, who beat 18 other finalists to win the crown, took over from Chidinma Aaron, a model from Enugu State.
The judges included Nollywood diva, Rita Dominic, former housemates of the reality show, BBNaija, Ike Onyema, Lanre Da Silva Ajayi, and Africa’s leading beauty and makeup entrepreneur, Tara Durotoye.
The winner, according to the organisers of the event, will now receive a luxurious apartment and a car as gifts. She embodies exemplary qualities and serves as a role model for young women in the country.
