The umbrella body for Nigerian actors, the Actors Guild of Nigeria, has unveiled its activities for the year 2020.
The AGN President, Mr Emeka Rollas, unveiled the activities at a press conference which held in Lagos on Thursday.
The president also unveiled two major events which have been lined up for the first quarter of the year. They include the formal launch of the guild's first movie, scheduled to be unveiled in Abuja in February, and the 9th Inaugural Lecture and Honours Nite which will feature a lecture, with the theme "The Strategic Role of Nollywood In the Nigerian Economy.”
The launch of the movie, which depicts the Nigerian army's fight against insurgency, will hold at Ladi Kwali Hall, Sheraton Hotel, Abuja, on March 11, 2020.
37 special advisers to the president of the guild were unveiled at the event which was graced by top Nollywood actors, including BOT Chairman of AGN, Ifeanyi Dike, Ejike Asiegbu, Zack Orji, Sunny Mcdon W, Emma Oguguah, Ronnie Diko, Monalisa Chinda Coker.
