Business Of Photography Conference: Photography And The Tech Evolution

Published photographer and founder of Insigna Media, Kola Oshalusi, has announced that this year’s edition of the Business of Photography Conference will hold on Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at the Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

With the theme ‘Photography and the Tech Evolutions,’ the conference is aimed at convening photographers, photography manufacturing and service companies, as well as photography retail businesses.

In an era where there is an unprecedented quest for visual information, photography plays a major role. Hence, it is emphasised that the goal of the conference is to effectively sustain the industry and also monetize creativity. It is also strategically organised to help photographers seek solutions to challenges they might be facing in their profession.

The conference, which will address photography from a business-oriented angle, will host a number of amazing creatives from all walks of life, who have built substantial careers for themselves, worth learning from.

These panellists include Adesuwa Iyare, Special Adviser, Visual Communications to the Wife Of The Vice President, Federal Republic Of Nigeria and Principal Photographer to the Wife Of The Vice President; Jay Chikezie, Co-founder and Director, Business Strategy of Nairabox; Oyindamola Fakeye, West African Arts Associate Consultant for the British Council; and Oladayo Mukaila Adedayo, a trained photographer at the Westminster College and the University of Westminster, both in the United Kingdom.

Registration for the event will commence at the venue on Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at 8 am, while the event itself will begin by 9 am.

The Business of Photography Conference is the brainchild of the award-winning photographer, Kola Oshalusi of Insigna Media Ltd.
