#StyleBusters: Osas Ajibade stays stylish through the highs and lows

Ezinne Osuagwu

Newly wed Osas Ajibade came on the Nigerian media scene with a big bang! She wowed us with her stunning red carpet fashion and won our hearts with her role in Tinsel. She is undoubtedly stylish and she was once named the most stylish Nigerian celeb, is that still the case? That’s why #StyleBusters is here to give you our take on celebrity fashion. Let’s see if Osas can still be said to be one of Nigeria’s most stylish celeb. We’ll start from her old looks to her most recent ones.

Skirt and blouse has never looked sexier. In recent times, dresses and high waist skirts have taken over the fashion scene, thus seeing this was just a breath of fresh air. She killed this look with minimal accessories and a simple clutch the dress is undoubtedly a winner any day.

She was the belle of the ball in this high low off shoulder dress at the Genevieve pink ball. I loved how she accessorised with pink instead of wearing a pink dress. She’s stunning, she’s glowing, she’s slaying. The side swept do conveniently crowns the look. She isn’t wearing any jewellery and  it doesn’t even matter.

I do not know the texture of this fabric but I do know that it does little to hide the contours in your in your body, and it’s pretty obvious that “Suck belle make shirt fine” is in the works right now as she seems to be tucking in her tummy. Well the look isn’t exactly spectacular, it’s simple, she looks good, but nothing special. A better hair do would have improved the look, but there’s no wow factor.

Not her best look, definitely not her worst, but still, the wow factor isn’t there. The hair, the makeup, the dress, it lacks the oomph that Osas brings to the red carpet. This will get a pass.

I love stripes, and this one rocks, although I do not like the accessories, earrings especially, the dress would have done fine without them. But she does look stunning in this asymmetrical cut, and those shoes are to die for.

We’ll rate her 6/10 because, Though Osas is a super stylish woman and we can’t deny that her fashion lately has been experiencing highs and lows,  I’m pretty sure she’s going to get back on track soon.
