Relief! As Forty-two Ships Carrying Petroluem Products Are Set to Berth at Apapa Ports

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has disclosed that Forty two ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive the Apapa and Tin Can Island Ports in Lagos between Jan. 5 and Jan. 30.

The NPA in its weekly newsletter`Shipping Position’, made available to newsmen in Lagos on Friday, said the ships contained buck wheat, frozen fish, bulk gas, bulk fertiliser, aviation fuel, bulk sugar, diesel, petrol and containers laden with goods.

The document also revealed that six ships carrying bulk fertiliser, containers, aviation fuel and petrol are already waiting to berth at the ports.
