FiFA President, Gianni Infantino and his Executive team, paid a courtesy call on Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, at the State House Ikeja Lagos on Monday.
The world football governing body boss, Infantino, expressed his joy and excitement about visiting Lagos, adding that it is a pleasure and honor to be in Lagos State.
He specially thanked the Governor for having him and his team in Lagos for the FIFA Executive Football Summit.
Governor Ambode on his part, appreciated the FIFA President for having Justice Ayorinde Phillips, as a member of the Ethics Committee of FIFA and also reiterated the state government’s commitment to youths and women soccer development, with huge tourism potential to hold FIFA events.
