Accord Party Expels Okupe Over Saraki’s Appointment

Eniola Awokoya

The Accord Party has expelled a former Special Assistant to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Doyin Okupe, over alleged anti-party activities.

Okupe’s expulsion came a day after he was appointed by Senate President Bukola Saraki, as the chairman of his 2019 presidential campaign.

The National Secretary of AP, Mrs. Abiola Ajaja, told newsmen on Wednesday that the party took the decision, after they invited Okupe severally and he refused to honour the invitation and also refused to desist from his negative actions.
