Aisha Buhari, wife of President Muhammadu Buhari paid a condolence visit to a slain pilot’s family.
Mohammed Baba-Ari is the pilot who lost his life.
The late Nigerian Air Force pilot, died last week. In an F-7Ni aircraft that crashed in Abuja.
Aisha disclosed this on her twitter page.
“This evening I paid a condolence visit to the family of late squadron leader, Baba Ali, who lost his life in a recent air crash.
“On several occasions, we lose our gallant soldiers in the cause of duty.
“The pain of their loss can never be forgotten,” Aisha wrote.
Bello Baba-Ari flew the F-7Ni aircraft which crashed in Katampe area in Abuja.
The late squadron leader was one of the three pilots in the Katamkpe Hill accident in Abuja on Friday, September 28 2018.
Squadron leader Bello Baba-Ari, died in the Air Force plane crash in Abuja and has since been buried at Gudu cemetery in Abuja.
Two NAF aircrafts had crashed in Abuja, while rehearsing for their display.
According to reports the rehersals were for Nigeria’s 58th independence anniversary on October 1 2018 in the Federal Capital Territory.
