Fashion entrepreneur and social media influencer, Laura Ikeji Kanu, has made the first move to end the rift between herself and sister-in-law, Amara Kanu, with a post on Instagram
Laura ikeji Kanu, the wife of Ogbonna Kanu and the younger sister of Nigerian online blogger, Linda ikeji, decided to put an end to a long time war between herself and her sister-in-law, Amara Kanu, wife of Super Eagles captain and ex-footballer, Kanu Nwankwo.
Back in January 2018, Amara Kanu called her brother-in-law, Ogbonna Kanu, out on social media for stealing her son's ticket to a Leeds United game.
The mother of four went on to call him a coward and a thief for stealing the ticket and having the guts to post pictures of the event on social media.
Amara also warned him to stay off her husband and children for the sake of peace. This incident caused a rift between Laura Kanu and Amara Kanu
Ogbonna is an ex-football player whose career was cut short after suffering terrible injuries.
Late yesterday, Laura posted a picture of Amara on her Instagram page. According to her, she and her sister-in-law were friends until Amara insulted her husband on social media for stealing her son's ticket to the Leeds United game and never cared to apologize.
The social media influencer further said she hopes they meet and discuss the issues like adults, adding that it’s time to put a stop to name calling and supremacy. She decided to make the first move by putting a call through to her sister-in-law, Amara
