Audio of civil society movement 'Our Mumu Don Do' leader, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, allegedly confirming he received money from Festus Keyamo, is currently circulating the Internet.

The less than two minutes audio, which was shared by Sahara Reporters, features the Convener of the Concerned Nigerians movement, Deji Adeyanju, and the Area Father.

In the audio, Deji asks Charly boy about reports he got that he collected money from President Muhammadu Buhari's spokesman, Festus Keyamo, and Area Fada didn't deny the accusation.

Recall that Deji Adeyanju recently withdrew his membership of the 'our mumu don do' movement and accused its leader of betraying him while he was in prison for 78 days in Kano State.

Charly Boy, in a chat with Vanguard, dismissed the allegations against him as cheap blackmail while noting that the movement isn't a political platform for sharing money.

“Ignore him (Deji), I am not prepared to share any money. We are not in the business of sharing money. We are not a political party. What we are doing in the group is struggle for a better nation. Deji was at my residence a day before his social media rant. He didn’t tell me anything about his planned resignation from the group. If he had real issues against me, he would have raised them when he came over to my place.” he said.

On seeing the report on Vanguard, Deji threatened to release audio recordings of his confrontation.

Now the audio has found its way to the Internet, even though Deji claims he didn't give it to any media source. He has, however, disclosed that he shared it with close friends.

Charly Boy is yet to respond to the buzz surrounding the audio.
