A 21-year-old Nigerian business consultant, named Abdul Qawiyy Hammed, has bought a car for his mother to celebrate her 45th birthday.
The consultant, with the Twitter handle, @HQawiyy, shared photos of himself and his happy mum with the car he bought on his social media page yesterday, and it has since gone viral.
Hammed tweeted: "Bought my MUM a car for her 45th year birthday. Went to her school and surprised her with it. I’m so grateful to God I could do this. On her 35th birthday we had nothing to eat & she was broke but wanted the best for us. The real #10YearChallenge. Love you, Mum.
"I said I was gonna do this and God made it possible. All at 21 years old!!! True representation that if you hustle legit, you can also make it. Here’s my Tweet manifesting it into the universe. Her house is next."
Many are shocked at his revelation about earning so much as a young Nigerian, especially with the widespread Internet fraud in the country now.
But a little research on the young man shows he has been doing his learning and earning in the background for a while.
Hammed is the son of two academics, his father, a university professor, and a mum that owns a school.
He is the self-acclaimed Africa’s Highest Paid Under 25 Best Consultants to Businesses. He allegedly makes 7 digits monthly from freelancing and dropshipping.
An undergraduate in his final year in a Nigerian university, he is a published author of an e-commerce book 'No B.S Sales Rocket Launcher'.
