Molten Iron Kills Workers In Indian Steel Company In Lagos

An explosion at an Indian steel company has left at least four people dead and many injured, according to reports on social media.

There were tears and outrage at a steel making factory in Ogijo along Shagamu, by Ikorodu Road, Lagos, after a terrible explosion left many in a terrible state, including a young boy who was roasted to death.

"Water don 💧 from my eyes," a Facebook user, Nwa Boss, wrote on his timeline.

"God have mercy on us. This happened yesterday innocent souls were burnt by melting pot at Indian steel company African foundry in ogijo along ikorodu shagamu road Lagos State... I'll rather stay in my room broke than go struggle where safety of my life means nothing to the management. Its better I stay fresh & broke at home than die making peanut.

"Please let this Indian people understand Nigerians are not animals ... They pay their citizens more than us but Nigerians do the work ... imagine these boys earn 850 naira a day. Maka why? Lord Help Nigeria.
