Music Superstar, Reekado Banks, has warned Nigerians about the activities of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad division of the country's police force.
The former Mavin records artist was reacting to recent happenings in the land which have seen citizens being harassed, brutalized and even killed by SARS operatives.
There has been a repeated outcry by the masses, especially youths, about illegal raids and public oppression by SARS operatives and the police in general.
Yesterday, a video of a young trader being beaten went viral on social media after he refused to unlock his phone for SARS operatives to go through.
That incident happened less than 24 hours after Nollywood filmmaker, Lanre Adediwura, his friend, and a pregnant woman were allegedly brutalized by police in Lagos.
Recall that two weeks ago, the life of another young man, Kolade Johnson, was cut short after he was hit by a stray bullet while he was watching a football match.
There have been other incidents which have made social media users and activists start campaigns asking the government to end SARS and reform the police.
All these incidents have led Reekado to brand them as armed robbers and kidnappers.
The boss of Banks records wrote: "Always tell someone before you go out and keep them updated about your movements. These SARS people are ARMED ROBBERS AND KIDNAPPERS."
