The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has assured Nigerians that musicians, Afeez Fashola (Naira Marley) and Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael (Zlatan Ibile), will be charged to court, according to reports by Sahara Reporters.

Both singers, along with three others, Tiamiu Abdulrahman Kayode, Adewunmi Adeyanju Moses, and Abubakar Musa, were arrested by the anti-graft agency on Friday morning at Naira Marley's resident in Lekki for their alleged links to cybercrime.

The EFCC had put out a press release on Friday stating that the artistes have "volunteered useful information about their involvement in the alleged criminal activities, even as investigations continue.”

And it is believed that the agency has plans to use information volunteered by the arrested gang to charge them to court, but until then, the Musicians will remain in detention.

However, based on Nigerian law, they can only be detained for a maximum of 48 hours without a court order, which according to top sources, is what the EFCC would attempt to get.

The suspects could as well be charged to court if the prosecutors feel they have enough evidence against them.
