Nigerian rapper, Zlatan Ibile, has been released from the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, five days after he was arrested alongside Naira Marley and three others over their alleged involvement in cybercrime.

The singer, who was arrested on Friday morning at Naira Marley's home, was released on Tuesday along with Rahman Jago and one other person.

According to reports, the three were freed on 'bail' after a Senior Advocate of Nigeria hired by Davido intervened. They, however, would still need to report at the EFCC’s office daily till the end of the saga.

While Zlatan can now enjoy his freedom once again, Naira Marley and one other person remain in EFCC’s custody, allegedly due to some incriminating items found inside their laptops.

Investigations are still ongoing and the young upcoming acts are yet to be charged to court by the anti-graft agency.
