Nigerian singer, Oritse Femi, has praised politicians as the real helpers of entertainers and not 'Yahoo boys', as many people believe.
Since the social media squabble between Naira Marley and Simi and the subsequent criticism of the 'Issa goal' crooner by Tunde Ednut, several other artistes have given their opinions about fraud and how it affects them.
Ruggedman, in a street interview with HipTV, also bashed Naira Marley for validating fraud and claiming that the economy is only doing well because 'Yahoo boys' are circulating money that politicians are stealing.
Many other social media users frowned at the fast-rising star for his stance on fraud, while some others praised his comments as apt. Some even suggested that 'Yahoo boys' are the major funders of the music industry, a claim Oritse Femi blatantly disagrees with.
In an interview with HipTV, the singer revealed that while politicians have helped promote his career, the same cannot be said for the famed internet fraudsters called 'yahoo boys'.
"You can see politicians buying cars for artists, but how many yahoo boys have bought cars for artists?" he asked, before adding that most Yahoo boys are yet to help themselves let alone help others.
