Fans of Big Brother Naija (BBN) are reacting on social media after the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) petitioned the Federal Government to end the reality TV show.

These reactions are coming after MURIC wrote to President Muhammadu Buhari, calling on him to shut down the much-followed show.

Director of the Islamic body, Professor Ishaq Akintola, tagged the reality show as ‘immoral, dangerous and bohemian’.

He also expressed shock at the decision of the Ministry of Information and Culture and the National Orientation Agency to allow it air.

The organizers of the show were also bashed for wooing young people with humongous amounts of money, big cars, and palatial buildings.

All of the different complains by MURIC about the show that is rated 18 has sparked a reaction from social media users, most of which have been hilarious.

The organization was also criticized for misplacing their priorities as according to Tweeps, there are weightier problems than BB Naija they should be petitioning the government against.
