Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has handed over 120 patrol vehicles and 35 motorbikes to security operatives in the state.
The donation of the vehicles and motorbikes, he noted, was part of the state government’s commitment to providing adequate security across the state.
While speaking at the inauguration of the items, which held at the state secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja, the governor acknowledged the benefits of establishing the Lagos State Security Trust Fund with the support of the Lagos State House of Assembly.
“This administration is just 99 days old; security and good governance happens to be the sixth pillar of our ‘THEMES’ policy agenda and we have attempted modestly to ensure that we engage each and every of those pillars,” he stated.
