The 27-year-old rap star, Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, best known by her stage name Cardi B, has condemned the controversial killing of Iran commander, Qassem Soleimani as it looks likely to lead to a World war III.

On Friday, January 3, a US airstrike killed a Revolutionary Guard General, Soleimani, who is head of the elite Quds Force, at Baghdad International Airport, for Iran.

The strike also claimed the life of Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the deputy commander of the Iran-backed militia, Popular Mobilization Forces, who recently stormed the US embassy in Baghdad to wreak havoc.

In her reaction, Carbi B declared that President Donald Trump has put the lives of US citizens in danger.

She tweeted: “It’s sad this man is putting Americans lives in danger. Dumbest move (by) Trump did till date. I’m filing for my Nigerian citizenship.”

The World Body, United Nations (UN) has weighed on the gravity of the incident, saying if the world leaders fails to exercise restraint another world War will begin.

The Secretary-General of the UN, Antonio Guterres, expressed his deep concerns with the recent escalation.

“This is a moment in which leaders must exercise maximum restraint. The world cannot afford another war in the Gulf,” he said.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, in his own explanation, said President Trump ordered the take out of Soleimani to stir up an “imminent attack” that could have cost American lives in the Middle East region.
