Nigerian Singer, Eedris Abdulkareem, Arrested For Beating Landlord

Nigerian Singer, Eedris Abdulkareem, has landed himself in police custody after allegedly beating up his landlord identified as Oladipo Abimbola.

This incident happened sometime last week as a result of an unpaid electricity bill which amounts up to N535,000 at Valley View Estate, Ikeja.

It was reported by the landlord that the house was rented by Eedris’ wife as he had no idea about the singer being his tenant.

The veteran Nigerian singer was said to have barged angrily into the compound to beat and strangle the landlord for calling on the Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company (IKEDC) to disconnect the power supply in his home.

Eedris’ landlord had to call the police to inform them of the singer’s actions. He reported the singer to be a dangerous person and has issues socializing with people, hence, posing a threat.

Mr Abimbola went further to disclose to the police that the singer constantly owed rent and has refused to pay up as well.

Eedris, however, refuted the allegations of beating up his landlord. He also accused the landlord of being known for sexually assaulting his female tenants, as he had been arrested for that a long time ago.

Eedris reported the case of the landlord who had tried to sexually assault his wife on several occasions whenever he wasn’t around.

All effort to stop the landlord as regards sexually assaulting his wife was futile.

However, the case is still ongoing and investigations are being made.
