Real Talk With Mr. PJ And The Gang: Relationship Matters

Happenings

Hello there! It's almost time for another episode of “Real Gist with Mr. PJ and the Gang” and today our gist is about relationships.

When we say we are in a relationship with someone or people, there are certain things that are normal and others that are abnormal.

But most times, normal or abnormal is dependent on the individual, as what might be normal to you I might find hard to comprehend and vice versa. Na so the life dey o. Different strokes for different folks, right?

But then, e get some things wey pipu dey do, wey be say on a general level suppose be or nor just suppose be, as whatever people's views may be, black is always black and white is always white! No space for grey.

Before I begin dey do totology dey go make I go straight to the point. Today, I want us to take a look at two issues:

1. IS IT BAD FOR A LADY TO HELP HER MAN STAND IN LIFE AND CAREER?

2. LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIPS; IS IT GOOD OR BAD?

On Tuesday, I came across a post on Twitter where a man was sharing what his fiancee had done for him from the day he met her till now and how grateful he was to have such a wonderful woman.

He wanted the world to know just how lucky he was to be getting married to such a rare gem.

But to his greatest surprise, he received a lot of backlash from people in the comment section, especially from the females.

They felt this was a wrong thing for her to have done. Which is why I'm bringing it up as one of our topics of discussion on the show today.

Is it wrong for a lady to help her boyfriend/man stand in life and career (if she has the means)? After all, men do this all the time and no one ever makes a fuss about it.

We would also spend time discussing long distance relationships. We would talk about the interesting and frustrating sides of this kind of relationship.

Some pipu don do am succeed, but to others na like punishment! I know of many women who got married to their men and ended up being the only one taking care of their kids because hubby is in Yankee hustling with the hope that someday he'll come back home or they will go and join him! In many cases, na story dey end am.

Some people say long distance relationship spices up the love between couples, while others go tell you say na just better "konji" the thing dey bring come. My Pipo, wetin una think?

So, as e dey hot, join me on Happenings radio on top REAL TOK WITH MR. PJ COMEDIAN & THE GANG, make we discuss am, this Thursday, July 11, at 3 pm.
