Another Suburban Museum? the high brow residential area of Ikoyi in Lagos is littered, with them; aesthetically appealing edifices nobody ever lives in, because the prices to buy or lease them are frighteningly exorbitant.
What I find ironical about the entire fiasco, is the fact more of these kinds of buildings spring up every other day, despite older similar structures staying empty, with rodents and weeds as inhabitants. The image below is a classic example, it is being constructed at Bishop’s court Ikoyi.
The construction style of this building screams residential and I wonder, if it is just another Suburban Museum, no different from those littered all over Ikoyi.
