In the wake of Sexual misconduct allegations, against Actor Kevin Spacey, Netflix will be suspending the 6th season of the political drama ‘House of Cards’, in which Spacey plays the part of conniving President Frank Underwood.
The streaming service and production company, Media Rights Capital in a joint statement said “the move would give us time to review the current situation and to address any concerns of our cast and crew.”
The 58 year old Hollywood star, on Sunday apologized after ‘Star Trek:Discovery” actor Anthony Rapp alleged that he (Spacey), sexually assaulted him at a 1986 party in New York, when Rapp was just a 14 year old.
The embattled star, took to his twitter account, in response to Rapp’s allegation and said “If I did behave then as he describes, I owe him the sincerest apology for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behavior, and I am sorry for the feelings he describes having carried with him all these years.”
